Salim Khan started in 2007 as an audit article clerk at a small audit firm in Vanderbijlpark after a year and a half in the accommodation and leisure industry. He has 10 years accounting experience of which six were auditing experience and specialises in complex accounting and tax solutions.
In January 2010, he transferred to a Rosebank auditing firm seeking higher-quality experience and exposure.
Being used on audits which require quick solutions and finalisations, he was made audit manager in late 2011.
It was in January 2013 that he decided to move into the private sector as a financial manager in a manufacturing company.
The request from previous audit clients for Salim to assist them with books, catch-ups and taxes, drew him to start SixDigs Accounting in 2014.
SixDigs Accounting was started in early 2014 and has grown substantially.
Salim Khan is an experienced accountant who has 10 years professional experience.
The firm is based in Johannesburg, but services across South Africa.
